Fixing Blown Fuses: 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V2 Fuse Diagrams Guide
Greetings from the 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V2, your gateway to the cutting edge of motorcycle technology! It’s important to familiarize yourself with the nuances of this high-performance machine before you set out on an exciting journey with it. One important component that guarantees electrical safety and functionality is the fuse box and fuses. The fuse box is a vital component of the Ducati Streetfighter V2’s electrical system that guards against overloads and short circuits in the motorcycle’s electrical circuits. Fuses serve as protectors, cutting the circuit when an anomaly is found, thus averting possible harm to different electrical components. The fuse box serves as a centralized hub, housing these protective devices and facilitating easy access for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Fuses
Twelve fuses protect the electric components, located inside the front fuse boxes and one on the electric solenoid starter. There is a spare fuse in every box. Refer to the table below to identify the circuits protected by the various fuses and their ratings. The front left fuse box (A) and the front right one (B), are located above the battery. To reach the fuses, remove the tank cover as described in the chapter “Charging the battery”. To expose the fuses, lift the relevant box protective cover. Mounting position and ampere capacity are marked on the box cover.

To access the main starter fuse, the starter refers to removing the left-hand side half-fairing.
The 30A main starter fuse (C) is located next to the battery, on the right side of the fuse box. Remove the protection cover cap to reach it. The spare 30A fuses (D) are located on the solenoid starter(E); remove the protection cap to reach them. A blown fuse can be identified by breakage of the inner filament (F).
Important
Switch the ignition key to OFF before replacing the fuse to avoid possible short circuits.
Attention
Never use a fuse with a rating other than specified. Failure to observe this rule may damage the electric system or even cause fire.
How to Replace Ducati Streetfighter V2 Fuses
FAQs
On a Ducati Streetfighter V2, the fuse box is usually found under the seat or close to the battery compartment.
There are usually multiple fuses for different components such as lights, horn, and accessories, though the precise number of fuses may vary.
The color codes represent the fuse’s amperage rating. It is imperative that a blown fuse be replaced with one that has the same amperage.
Examine the fuse with your eyes. The fuse blows if the internal metal strip breaks or melts.
We don’t advise doing that. Damage to the electrical system may result from using a higher amperage fuse. Replace with the appropriate amperage every time.
A screwdriver or a particular tool from the Ducati toolkit will usually do the job.
Absolutely, it is typical for manufacturers to include extra fuses in the toolbox.
To ensure safety and avoid electrical shorts, it is advised to disconnect the battery before changing a fuse.
