2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Fuses and Fuse Box
Inside the electrical system of the 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, which is like a complicated maze, fuses and their fuse boxes stand guard against the dangers of electrical changes. These simple but important parts make up a strong line of defense, ready to stop the flow of electricity when needed to protect the car’s complex systems from damage. The Stelvio’s fuse boxes, which are carefully placed in its frame, protect the electrical system both under the hood and inside the car. The fuse boxes are the last line of defense against overcurrent and other electrical problems. They show the Stelvio’s commitment to safety and make sure that the harmony of technology and performance goes on without a hitch. Just like a director keeps an orchestra in tune, the fuses and fuse boxes in the 2022 Stelvio work together to make driving a smooth experience that puts the focus on performance, safety, and the engineering art.

compartment when the battery is disconnected. Always position the manual liftgate opening strap on the liftgate lock before disconnecting the battery. The procedure is described in the “Lift-gate Emergency Opening” Ú page 59.
FUSES
General Information
The fuses protect electrical systems against excessive current.
When a device does not work, you must check the electrical circuit inside of the fuse for a break/melt.
Also, please be aware that using power outlets for extended periods of time with the engine off may result in vehicle battery discharge.

Fuse Extracting Pliers
To replace a fuse, use the pliers hooked to the fuse box.
Grab the pliers from the upper tabs, press them, and extract the pliers pulling upwards.
The pliers have two different ends, both of which are specifically designed to remove the different types of fuses present in the vehicle:
Fuse Extracting Pliers
- MINI fuse
- J-CASE fuse
After use, return the pliers to their proper position using the following procedures:
- Grasp the pliers from the upper tabs and insert them into their housing.
- Push downward on the pliers into their housing until they click into place.
WARNING
- When replacing a blown fuse, always use inappropriate replacement fuse with the same amp rating as the original fuse. Never replace a fuse with another fuse of higher amp rating. Never replace a blown fuse with metal wires or any other material. Do not place a fuse inside a circuit breaker cavity or vice versa. Failure to use proper fuses may result in serious personal injury, fire and/or property damage.
- Before replacing a fuse, make sure that the ignition is off and that all the other services are switched off and/or disengaged.
- If the replaced fuse blows again, contact an authorized dealer.
- If a general protection fuse for safety systems (air bag system, braking system), power unit systems (engine system, transmission system) or steering system blows, contact an authorized dealer.
Fuse Location
The fuses, which can be replaced by the user, are grouped in two boxes below the passenger side foot board and inside the luggage compartment.

FAQs
The fuse box is in the engine compartment of the 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. By lifting the hood and finding the fuse box cover, you can get to it.
Press the tabs on either side of the cover and lift it upward to access the fuse box. You may access the fuses inside by doing this.
A fuse in a car is a safety mechanism that guards against overloading by cutting the circuit if too much current goes through it. This lessens the possibility of electrical fires and helps avoid damage to the electrical components.
Which fuses are utilized in the Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2022?Mini blade fuses—small, rectangular fuses with colored plastic bodies—are frequently used in the 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
Usually, a broken wire inside the fuse, which is visible through the translucent plastic housing, will indicate that the fuse is blown. The metal strip within the fuse may also be clearly melted.
No, it’s crucial to swap out a blown fuse for one with the same amperage rating. Using a larger amperage fuse won’t adequately protect the circuit, which could result in electrical harm or even fire.
You can consult the owner’s manual or the diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover to figure out which fuse is connected to a certain electrical component. A list of the components and the locations of the appropriate fuses will be provided
Usually, all you need are your hands. To make removing fuses easier, it’s a good idea to maintain a fuse puller tool in your car’s toolbox.
Although certain fuse pullers are made to function on various types of devices, it is advised to use the one that came with your car. It was created particularly to fit the fuses in your car.
The majority of car owners can typically perform the simple process of changing fuses on their own. However, it’s better to get professional advice if you’re hesitant or uneasy handling electrical components.
Constantly blowing fuses could indicate a deeper electrical problem. Have your car checked out by a qualified mechanic if you find yourself frequently changing fuses.
In most cases, including the 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, spare fuses of varying amperage ratings are included. These are often kept in the owner’s manual pouch or the fuse box.
It’s not advised to use a fuse with a lower amperage rating because it might not offer the circuit enough protection and could result in electrical problems.
Make sure the associated electrical component is off before replacing a fuse. Additionally, in order to avoid unintentional short circuits, unplug the battery of the car before changing the fuses.
Adding additional fuses to your car’s fuse box is not advised. Additional fuses may overload an electrical system that is intended to handle a particular load, which could cause harm. It’s best to seek a professional for proper installation if you need to install additional electrical components.
