2021 alliance RV Valor Battery Disconnect Switch Instruction
With its built-in Battery Disconnect Switch, the Alliance RV Valor 2021 adds a new level of control and ease. This advanced feature acts as a watchful guard and makes it easy for RV owners to control their power supply. The Battery Disconnect Switch keeps the battery from draining when the Valor isn’t being used. It’s a simple way to save battery life and make the most of the Valor’s features. It links or disconnects the battery from the RV’s electrical system with a simple turn. This makes sure that power is only used when it is needed. This new feature not only improves the user experience as a whole, but it also shows that Alliance RV is dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions for modern RV life.
Battery Disconnect Switch
Used to shut off all 12‐volt power that supplies RV. When the switch is activated the batteries are disconnected/isolated and no longer supply 12‐volt power to the RV. You will find the battery disconnect switch in the pass thru storage compartment of the 5th wheel and are typically mounted above docking station.
To operate the switch, simply turn the lever to the ON or OFF position. As shown below, a lanyard is attached to prevent the removable lever from being misplaced.
Solar Panels
Valor is equipped with roof mounted monocrystalline solar panels.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Solar panels generally require very little maintenance in order to function. The only thing they need is a periodic light cleaning to make sure dirt, leaves, and other debris aren’t obstructing the sun’s rays. To clean the panels use a soapy sponge and wipe dry with a squeegee.
Solar Charge Controller
Valor is equipped with a Rover 40 or 60 amp MPPT charge controller to give you the best charging efficiency for countless 12V off‐grid solar applications. Compatible with an assortment of batteries, including Lithium, the Rover Elite MPPT maximizes your solar charging energy through its smart tracking algorithm ensuring the most efficient to your battery. Additionally, the Rover Elite MPPT is equipped with multiple battery, controller, and solar protections giving you peace of mind and an optimized system you can trust.
