2023 Cadillac CT5 Specs, Price, Features, Mileage and Review

As enthusiasts of driving sports sedans at Car and Driver, the 2023 Cadillac CT5 should thrill us all to no end. Do and do not both. With its excellent chassis and elegant design, the standard-issue CT5 is effectively the entry-level version of the wild, wonderful, 10Best-winning CT5-V Blackwing supersedan (reviewed separately). Driving adventures should be commonplace, but they aren’t. If you want a fun drive, your only choice is the twin-turbo V-6 CT5-V, which is the second-best CT5 after the Blackwing. The comfort factor is prioritized over driving dynamics focused on performance in the remaining CT5 models. Rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz C-class, BMW 3-series, and Genesis G70 are sportier and more pleasurable to drive than the standard non-V CT5s. In addition, the Caddy’s cabin lacks the opulent, upscale appearance of those thoroughbreds. The CT5 more than makes up for its flaws with its amazing and incredibly user-friendly onboard technology. Cadillac even offers a version of the vehicle with the hands-free Super Cruise feature. However, if you want it to function like a luxury sports sedan, ask to get the CT5 model, which comes with an extra letter fastened to the trunk lid.

What Is 2023 Bringing?
For 2023, the CT5 is essentially the same, but the exterior color scheme has been updated with the addition of three new colors: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic, and Midnight Steel Metallic.
There are two different flavors of CT5s: high-performance and high-comfort. This is one of the rare occasions when we suggest two models instead of just one from the lineup. The Premium Luxury CT5 is our choice if you’re looking for a mid-size luxury sedan that’s reasonably priced, good-looking, and drives well. It adds features like power lumbar support for the driver and front-seat passenger, rear parking sensors, illuminated exterior door handles, driver-seat memory settings, and an adjustable steering wheel. Though we would suggest it, keep in mind that you will also need to choose the Lighting package, which includes illuminated doorsills and front cornering lamps. However, the V-series model provides a respectable substitute if you enjoy driving and want a CT5 that can go up against elite sports sedans like the Alfa Romeo Giulia and BMW 3-series.
