2023 Ford Bronco
The four-wheel-drive Ford Bronco is undoubtedly the most exhilarating off-roader that has been produced since the Jeep Wrangler, and this is the case regardless of whether it is tearing through dense woodland trails or calmly idling up to Wendy’s drive-through window. The Bronco is available in two-door and four-door body designs, and it was meant to do everything that a Wrangler can do—and it does that and more. The Bronco was awarded the title of winner of our 10 best Trucks and SUVs category. Yes, the doors can be removed from a Bronco in the same way as they can be removed from a Wrangler, but only the Ford keeps its mirrors. The Ford Bronco suffers from noticeably less road noise when travelling on highways between puddles than the SUVs produced by the other company, which are both designed to perform well in muddy conditions. It also features a higher standard horsepower rating, with output ranging from a turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four with 300 horsepower to a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 with 330 horsepower. If you’re looking for something more, you may feast your eyes on the bloated fenders of the 418-horsepower Bronco Raptor, which was covered in a separate review. The Bronco is extremely versatile and can be configured to meet a broad variety of requirements thanks to its extensive lineup of models, levels of trim, and available add-ons. It can even be tailored to the preferences of purists, such as ourselves, who prefer to change gears with the assistance of a clutch pedal.
