Genesis has a unique take on luxury, and it shows in all of its products. The 2023 GV70 SUV, which made our list of the 10 Best Trucks and SUVs for 2023, is a great example. Genesis didn’t make a cheap value player that feels cheap. Instead, they made a small luxury SUV that is in many ways nicer and fancier than competitors with similar prices, like the BMW X3 and the Volvo XC60. It may not be as well-known as those other SUVs, but the GV70 makes up for it with a flashy exterior and a beautiful interior that is clearly high-end. Even if people can’t name it, they’ll know it’s high-end when they see it. There is more than enough power from a turbo four or twin-turbo six, and all-wheel drive comes standard on every model. The GV70 is quick to turn, but not as sharp as a Porsche Macan. The ride is nice when you just want to cruise in peace. The back seat could be bigger, so if you often take people with you, it might be better to get the even bigger and more comfortable GV80.

What’s Coming in 2023?

For 2023, the 2.5T Prestige trim has become the 2.5T Sport Prestige, which has a 12.3-inch digital gauge display and automatic temperature control in three zones. Even the 3.5-litre V-6 turbocharged Sport cars have touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel and black brake callipers on the back. The 2.5T Select now comes with improved front brake callipers and a heated steering wheel, and the 2.5T Advanced now comes with an upgraded Lexicon stereo system. The new external colours are Capri Blue, Makalu Gray, and Makalu Gray Matte.
