Introduction
The Pilot SUV from Honda has been completely updated for the 2023 model year, from the grille to the tailgate. This time around, the style of the new Pilot is boxier and more truck-like, giving it a more robust overall appearance. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are options, while a 3.5-litre V-6 with 285 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic are standard. The luxurious Touring and Elite variants come standard with a panoramic sunroof and a 12-speaker Bose music system, and the interior can be configured to accommodate seven or eight passengers. The centre of the lineup’s TrailSport model includes all-terrain tires on distinctive 18-inch wheels and modifications to the all-wheel-drive system that increase torque transfer to the rear wheels. It is simpler for the Pilot to compete against segment leaders like the Kia Telluride, the Hyundai Palisade, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee L thanks to its improved off-road performance, newly discovered on-road refinement, and upgraded features.
