The 2024 Acura MDX is a premium three-row SUV that caters to drivers who place an emphasis on dynamic handling rather than unadulterated luxury. The majority of versions are powered by a 2.9-liter V-6 engine that produces 290 horsepower and gives plenty of torque. The sportiest trim of the MDX, the Type S, which comes standard with all-wheel drive, a 355-horsepower turbocharged V-6 engine, and an adjustable air suspension system offers the most enjoyable driving experience for those who are behind the wheel. However, this is true of all MDX models. The first and second rows of seats in the MDX offer enough space for adults, whilst the third row is designed exclusively for children. The interior has an upscale style and provides a reasonable number of technological amenities, but if you’re looking for unadulterated luxury and the best materials, you’ll be better served by competitors like the Genesis GV80, the Mercedes-Benz GLE-class, and the Volvo XC90. These vehicles all provide superior cabins. However, the Acura is more affordable than those other options, so if you aren’t picky about what you drive, purchasing an Acura will save you a lot of money and provide you with a more enjoyable driving experience.
