E-boost

The e-boost action has a 15-second limit to avoid overheating. When engaged, top speed increases and acceleration becomes more forceful when the throttle is twisted. The e-boost gauge on the instrument display will turn gray to signify that it is available after all requirements have been satisfied. Pressing the e-boost button located on the right handle will initiate the e-boost function. When engaged, more power is available, “e-boost” shows on the screen, and the gauge turns purple. The diminishing e-boost gauge serves as a signal that the 15-second countdown timer is about to begin whenever the throttle is opened past a particular degree. The e-boost function is turned off when the timer expires.

ELECTRIC POWER

Kawasaki’s roadgoing EVs are powered by a compact brushless electric motor offering strong off-the-line acceleration and low-end response. Rider-selectable power levels contribute to rider confidence, while unique EV features like e-boost and WALK Mode add to the fun experience. The rider-friendly electric motor is also clean and quiet.

Power Modes

Multiple Power Mode models provide riders with an easy way to customize the engine power delivery to fit their preferences or riding situations. Apart from the Full Power mode, there’s one (Low) or two (Middle, Low) other modes available where the maximum power is restricted and the throttle response is softer.

Smart Phone Connectivity

Riders can establish a wireless connection with their motorcycle thanks to clever technology. A variety of instrument functions can be accessed with the help of the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” which enhances the riding experience. The smartphone may display vehicle information, like the odometer, fuel gauge, maintenance schedule, and more. The smartphone can be used to examine riding logs, which vary according on the model and may contain GPS route, gear position, rpm, and other information. Telephone (call, mail) notifications appear on the instrument panel when connected. Using the smartphone, riders may also adjust the chosen units, clock, date, and other settings on their motorcycle’s instrument display.

WALK MODE (WITH REVERSE)

WALK Mode is engaged by depressing and holding the Mode button once all requirements have been satisfied (bike stopped, throttle off). When engaged, the background of the screen changes to red, making a noticeable distinction from regular use. When engaged, the bike travels forward at a walking pace (around 3.1 mph) when the throttle is opened. The bike goes into reverse when the throttle is closed past the “zero” point. The reverse speed is about 1.9 miles per hour.

ZERO EMISSIONS

When operating, an electric motor that produces no emissions is used.

ABS (ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM)

Kawasaki ABS systems use front and rear wheel sensors to constantly monitor wheel speed. Should information from either of the sensors indicate that wheel lock has occurred, the ABS ECU directs the pump in the ABS unit to modulate brake fluid pressure (releasing and reapplying pressure so that traction can be regained) until normal operation resumes. ABS offers rider reassurance that contributes to greater riding enjoyment.

Ergo Fit

For comfort and control, a proper fit is essential. However, each rider has a different optimal fit based on their body type and riding style. An interface system called ERGO-FIT® was created to help riders select the best riding position. The handlebar, footpegs, seat, and other chassis interface points can all be modified by combining pieces that are interchangeable with those that have movable positions. This makes it possible for a diverse group of riders to select a riding position that provides control and comfort. They will be able to enjoy the excitement and satisfaction of riding a Kawasaki machine, feeling one with it.Each model has a different range of adjustability for its adjustable pieces.
