2024 MAZDA CX-90 PHEV
With the CX-90, Mazda made a number of significant changes. With the exception of the Miata, all of the brand’s current products are rear-wheel-drive, longitudinal-engine vehicles. Its two powertrains—a turbocharged inline-six and a plug-in hybrid four-cylinder are Mazda firsts. The CX-90 is available in a variety of combinations, and depending on the trim level, the plug-in hybrid generally costs more than the turbo six. First, a few numbers and statistics. The plug-in hybrid powertrain combines an eight-speed automatic transmission, an electric motor, and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine.
