The Sequoia stands out for its standard V-6 hybrid powertrain, which promises to save gasoline without compromising performance in a category crowded with large SUVs propelled by V-8 engines. The Sequoia’s 437-hp iForce MAX powertrain, along with the rest of its chassis, is shared with the Tundra Hybrid pickup truck. It is strong enough to tow and haul with the best of them.
