Never much at all. Although VW highlights some minor, as of yet unidentified cosmetic modifications, the 2022 makeover is still rather new. We do know that the 2025 VW Golf R—as well as its GTI sibling—will not be available with a manual transmission, even if specifics are still leaking out.
