What’s New for 2024? 
However, Ram hasn’t made any major changes to the Ram for 2024. This is likely because the 2025 model gets major updates. In case you missed it, Ram stopped offering the diesel engine option for the 1500 last year. It had been available on models made in early 2023.

There’s so much comfort in the 2024 Ram 1500 that you might think it’s time to get ready for the La-Z-Boy at home. No other full-size pickup has a better ride or better handling. The 702-hp Ram 1500 TRX, which we reviewed separately, is a unique animal. But the more refined Ram 1500 isn’t a part-timer when it comes to performance. It comes with engines ranging from a 305-hp V-6 to a 395-hp V-8, and it can tow up to 12,750 pounds normally.

What’s New for 2024? 
Stellantis, the company that owns Ram, said that 2024 will be the last year for the 702-hp pickup, which is bad news for bears. The 2024 model year is the only time the Final Edition will be sold; only 4000 will be made. Three colours are only available on this TRX Final Edition: Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise. The Satin Titanium wheels that can be bedded in and the graphic on the bedside are also unique. Inside, Ram adds Patina contrast stitching and “TRX” embroidery, and the gauge cluster has the words “Final Edition” written on it. The Satin Titanium finish and unique faux-suede door panels on the inside are some of the other details that make the Final Edition even more unique.

A beastly snarl can be heard over the top of a muddy ORV trail. But this isn’t a normal wild animal or hog; it’s the 702-hp Ram 1500 TRX. A strong, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine drinks gas like it’s a garden hose under the hood. The eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive system of the truck make it possible for this huge off-road beast to go through even the most dangerous terrain. You only need to watch out for two vehicles that are faster than the TRX: the all-electric Rivian R1T and the 700-hp Ford F-150 Raptor R.

What’s New for 2024? 
The only thing that has changed since last year is that the Ram Heavy Duty now comes with a Tailgate Ajar warning lamp as standard.

The 2024 Ram Heavy Duty is like an NFL lineman with a friendly personality: when needed, it’s very strong and capable, but when it’s not, it’s calm and friendly. You can choose from three engines. Everything comes with a 6.4-litre V-8 engine that makes 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission that comes with it is great. The Power Wagon only comes with this engine and transmission, and it only has four-wheel drive. Every other model, on the other hand, comes with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and a 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six engine. There are two different kinds of diesel. The first one has 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque and comes in both 2500 and 3500 units. The high-output version with 400 hp is only available on the 3500. It has an amazing 1075 pound-feet of torque. Its diesel competitors all have more modern 10-speed transmissions, while both of its engines are paired with a six-speed automatic.

There are two versions of the Ram 3500’s optional 6.7-liter diesel engine. The standard version has 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque, and the High Output version has 450 horsepower and 1,075 lb-ft. This gives people who don’t need to pull heavy loads the chance to save money on an already pricey engine option. Besides that, the Ram 2500 and 3500 are the only trucks in their class that come with load-leveling air springs. These springs can make it easier to hook up a trailer, and when the back is loaded with a trailer or heavy stuff, they keep the ride height the same.
