What’s New for 2024?
For its second year on the market, Subaru has made several changes to the Solterra that make it better. New paddles on the back of the spokes let the driver change the regenerative braking system on the fly. A low-speed hands-free driving mode, automatic lane-changing, and an intersection collision recognition system are some of the driver-assistance features that come with the Solterra. Subaru also says that updating the system that warms up the batteries will make charging easier when it’s cold outside.

It took Subaru a while to become an EV maker, and they had to work with Toyota to make it happen. The 2024 Subaru Solterra is a good introduction to electric cars. Introduced in 2024, the Limited Nightshade model has special 20-inch TRD wheels finished in matte black to match other blacked-out parts of the car’s body. The RZ lineup gets a new front-wheel-drive model in 2024: the RZ300e. The front-drive setup has a much better range estimate of up to 266 miles compared to the all-wheel-drive version’s 220-mile limit. It also has a starting price that is almost $5,000 less. The RZ can now have both one-tone and two-tone paint jobs on the outside, and Copper Crest has been added to the colour range. There are small changes to the way the inside looks. There is more technology to help the driver, and every model comes with a charging cord that works with both 120-volt and 240-volt outlets.

2024 Lexus RZ’s soft seats, high-quality materials inside, and smooth ride all add to the brand’s reputation for quiet luxury. The RZ isn’t like other Lexuses, though, because it’s the brand’s first electric vehicle. The RZ300e has 201 horsepower and front-wheel drive, and the RZ450e has 308 horsepower and all-wheel drive. Both come with a big 14.0-inch tablet that is quick to load and simple to use. The RZ is a good fit with Lexus’s other SUVs, but there’s a big catch. The RZ450e’s projected range is much shorter than that of most other luxury electric crossovers. In our range tests, it only went 120 miles per charge, which is even worse.
