Data in the vehicle

General
A number of electronic control devices are installed in your vehicle. Electronic control units process data that they receive from vehicle sensors, generate themselves, or exchange with one another, for example. Most of this data is transient and is only pro-cessed within the vehicle itself. Only a small proportion of the data is stored in event or fault memories in response to specific circumstan-ces.

Personal settings

Control over data
You may request the stopping of data transfers to the vehicle manufacturer for the purpose of ensuring product quality and optimising service processes.
