How to Operate AstroAI ‎MF139

Operating the AstroAI ‎MF139 Jump Starter is relatively straightforward, but it’s important to follow each step carefully to ensure safety and effectiveness. Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. Preparation:
    • Make sure the jump starter is fully charged before use.
    • Turn off all electronics in your vehicle (like the radio, lights, air conditioner, etc.).
  2. Connecting the Clamps:
    • Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on your car battery.
    • Connect the red clamp of the jump starter to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
    • Connect the black clamp to a grounded metal part of the car’s frame or engine block, away from the battery and any moving parts. This is for safety and to prevent sparking near the battery.
  3. Turning on the Jump Starter:
    • Once the clamps are securely in place, turn on the AstroAI ‎MF139 Jump Starter.
  4. Starting the Vehicle:
    • Try to start your vehicle. If it doesn’t start immediately, wait for a few minutes and then try again.
    • Avoid cranking the engine for more than 3-5 seconds at a time to prevent damage.
  5. Disconnecting After Use:
    • Once your vehicle starts, turn off the jump starter first.
    • Carefully disconnect the black (negative) clamp first, followed by the red (positive) clamp.
    • Store the jump starter safely.
  6. Recharging the Jump Starter:
    • After use, recharge your jump starter so it’s ready for the next emergency.

WARNING

  • Contains small accessories which are a choking hazard for young children.

  • The inflation hose will heat up during use, be mindful of the heat.
  • Do not over-inflate the tire, high pressure may cause damage.
  • Allow a 60-second interval between continuous operations to avoid overheating the product.
  • Only use the included jumper clamps. Do not use the jumper clamps if the clamps or cables are damaged.
  • Do not use the product in hot temperatures or high humidity.
  • Store the product as instructed.
  • Do not modify or disassemble the product.
  • Keep the product away from flammable liquids and gases dust, and corrosive liquids.
  • The jump-start function is only compatible with 12V vehicles.
  • Ensure the blue plug is fully inserted into the socket, or it may burn.
  • Ensure the starter’s battery life exceeds 60% before jumpstarting your car.
  • Do not drop/toss the product. If the product is hit or damaged, it needs to be tested by a qualified battery technician.
  • You may dispose of the lithium battery according to local guidelines when its service life has ended.
  • Supervise the pump while it is inflating.
  • Please check the preset value and unit before use.
  • Do not aim the nozzle at people or any part of a human body.
  • Extended use is not recommended! Please cool down the product for at least 10 minutes after 1 0 minutes of continuous use.

INSTRUCTIONS

Charging 

  1. Insert the charger into the socket, and connect the type-c cable to the product to charge.
  2. Disconnect the charger and cable after the product is fully charged.
    Tip: For the best charging performance, please use the included charger to charge the product.

Checking the battery level 

  1. After turning it on, the screen will display the current battery level.
  2. While in inflation setting mode, press the switch button to display the current battery percentage remaining.

NOTE: The jumpstart function will not work properly if the battery level is lower than 20%. If the battery level is lower than 20%, the display will flash a “Low Battery Voltage” warning, please charge your product immediately. To maximize battery service life, avoid letting the starter drop below a 20% charge.

Jumpstarting function 

  1. Press and hold the power/start button for 2 seconds to turn on the product.
  2. Ensure the smart jump starter cables are completely inserted into the 12V jump start port. (The indicator on the smart jump starter cables will flash, this is normal.)
  3. Securely connect the positive and negative clamps to the corresponding battery terminals as shown below, and the smart indicator will turn green. (If the indicator continues to flash in red and green alternately or turns red, please ensure the connection is correct.)
  4. Start the vehicle.
  5. Remove the jumper cables after successfully starting the car.

TIPS

  1. Turn off any electrical devices in the vehicle before jump-starting it.
  2. If it fails to jump-start, stop and remove the clamps. Wait for 60 seconds and retry step 4.

Inflating function instruction 

  1. Press and hold the power/start button for 2 seconds to turn on the product.
  2. Take the air hose out and connect the air hose as shown.
  3. Choose a suitable nozzle to inflate your item with.
  4. Press the switch button to choose the desired mode.
  5. Press and hold the switch button to switch between units. Press the button until the desired unit is reached. Release the switch button when the desired unit is on the screen to select it.
  6. Use ‘+’ and ‘-‘ to adjust the pressure value.
  7. Press the power/start button to inflate. The product will automatically shut off when the inflation is completed.

Tip

  1. If the tire pressure value of the object to be inflated is higher
    then the preset value, the product will not work.
  2. PSI, BAR, KG/CM2, and KPA are units, instead of pressure levels. Tip
  3. The air compressor is incompatible with high-volume objects
    like air mattresses and inflatable pools.
  4. Only inflate objects by their recommended pressure.

Press the light button to switch between the flashlight. SOS, and Strobe illumination modes.

MAINTENANCE

To achieve the best performance of the battery, please charge the product when the battery level is lower than 80%.
To extend the product’s service life, you should charge the product fully after use and charge it every three months when it is idle.
