How To Use EasyGO AM-MSTG-UX Smart Key Remote Start Owner’s Manual
The EasyGO Smart Key system is an advanced computerized system that automatically locks and unlocks your vehicle with the push of a button on the driver door handle and turns your vehicle engine ON or OFF by pressing the engine Start/Stop button without the use of a traditional key. ENGINE PUSH START/STOP
- Push to Turn ON the Engine
- Make sure the smart key is with you and in an effective proximity range.
- Step on and hold down the foot-brake pedal (The LED on the Engine Start/Stop button will turn on.
- Push the Engine Start/Stop button to start and turn on the engine.
Note 1
If you are unable to turn on the engine and hear the horn chirp 3 times that means the remote smart key is out of effective proximity range and can’t be sensed by the system, so please make sure the smart key is always with you. Smart key interference and a system disarm followed by a delayed engine start attempt may also give you a 3-horn chirp warning. In this case, disarm the system using the remote smart key.
Note 2
The system can be manually armed from the remote smart key even if the remote smart key is inside the vehicle. If a system is armed, vehicle operation will be disabled.
HOW TO PROGRAM THE REMOTE SMART KEY
- In normal status with the security system disarmed, open the driver door and keep it open. (If one remote smart key is already programmed either remove the battery or move the remote smart key out of vehicle range. The new remote smart key will not program if the existing working remote smart key is in range.
- Step on and hold the foot brake pedal.
- Press the lock/unlock door handle button rapidly and repeatedly. The warning LED light will turn ON the parking lights will flash 1 time and the horn will chirp 1 time. You may then release the foot brake pedal.
- Press the lock button (button #1) on the new replacement smart key within 10 seconds. The horn will chirp 2 times indicating the new replacement smart key has been successfully programmed.
Note
If you need to program another replacement smart key, just repeat 5.1.4 within the same 10 seconds. A total of 2 smart keys can be programmed into the system at any given time with the previously programmed keys’ codes automatically erased from the system memory. Once in smart key programming mode, if you do not press any buttons within 10 seconds the system will exit the smart key programming mode automatically.
AUTOMATIC CENTRAL LOCKING
- After the vehicle engine has been running for 15 seconds, the vehicle central lock will lock the doors automatically if you step on the foot brake pedal.
- When you turn off the engine, the vehicle’s central lock will unlock the doors automatically.
Note
You can also press the lock button (button #1) on the smart key to lock the doors or press the unlock button (button #3) on the smart key to unlock the doors when the engine is running.
