Installation of Juscar

• This product should be installed close to the rearview mirror for the best possible view.

Matters need attention

Insert the memory card
Turn the side with the metal strip towards the screen of the recorder, insert the card slot and press the memory card until you hear a “click”, which means that the memory card is inserted in place. If the memory card is inserted in the wrong direction, the memory card may not be removed from the recorder, or even damage the memory card and recorder.
Since the video storage of the recorder has a high operating speed to the card, note that the memory card must be a high-speed card (above CLASS10). Note: For the first use of a new card, it must be formatted and matched in this machine.

Take out the memory card
Press the memory card to eject the slot.
Note: When the device is turned on, do not remove or insert the memory card to avoid damage to the memory card or loss of files.

Installed on the front windshield in the car（Two installation methods and the recorder can be separated from the bracket）
Insert the bracket into the slot on the upper part of the recorder, then fix the suction cup bracket（tear off the plastic film on the suction cup before suction) or the sticking bracket (remove the 3M adhesive tape before sticking) on the front windshield of the car (as close to the rear view mirror as possible).

Dash Cam Installation

   Note:
   1. (1). Please use the original charger that comes standard with the factory to start the device and charge the built-in battery. Connect one end of the car charger to the USB port of the device, and plug the other end of the car charger into the cigarette lighter port in the car.
   2. (2). The red wire on the extension line of the rear camera is connected to the positive pole of the reversing light. This red line is used for the screen to automatically switch the reversing image when the car is in reverse gear. If the red line is not connected, it will not affect the normal video recording. You can choose whether to connect or not connect the red line according to the actual situation.

   Note: Distribute and hide the car charger extension cable and rear camera (optional) extension cable along the car trim panel as shown in the pictures above.

Recorder initial settings 

Recorder initial settings

1. Insert the memory card into the recorder correctly;
2. Connect the charger to the recorder and the car cigarette lighter, and let the cigarette lighter supply power to the recorder;
3. The recorder will turn on automatically, press the “Menu key ” to enter the function selection interface, press the “Down key ” to select “Format SD”, and then press the “OK key ” twice to format.

Set date and time

1. Press the “Menu key” to enter the setting menu;
2. Select“set date time” through the “down key” operation, and press the “OK key” to enter the setting and value adjustment;
3. Move the position by pressing the “up and down keys”, after completing the setting of the date and time, press the “menu key” to exit, the date and time are automatically saved.

Recorder function description

Recorder camera operation

1. When the car engine starts, the device will automatically turn on and start recording; when the engine is turned off, it will automatically stop recording and shut down after a few seconds;
2. In the recording mode, the recorder can manually press the “OK key” to pause or start recording.

Video playback and photo browsing operations

1. Press the “Mode key” twice to enter the album interface, select the “FRONT” file, and press the “OK key” to enter the video and photo preview interface;
2. Press the “Up and Down keys ” to select a video or photo, press the “OK key ” to play a video and browse photos;
3. In the state of playing back videos and browsing photos, press the “up and down keys” to switch between videos and photos;
4. Press the “Mode key” to exit

Video and photo deletion
During video playback and photo browsing, press “OK key “, then “Down key “, and then “OK” to delete videos and photos (locked files cannot be deleted by this operation)

Manual one-key lock document function
Press the “lock button” in the recording mode, you can lock the current recording file with one key, the locked file will not be overwritten in a loop, and the locked file cannot be deleted (only refers to the file deletion operation on the driving recorder, if you choose to format the card, all files in the card including locked files will be deleted).

Gravity sensing function
This machine has a built-in three-axis gravity sensor chip. When the vehicle is in a traffic accident while driving, the machine can automatically lock and protect the current video when the vehicle is hit, providing strong evidence for accident investigation and evidence collection.
Tips: The video lock time is related to the recording duration set in the recorder’s settings menu. There are two levels of “1 minute/3 minutes” in the loop recording menu. If the set recording duration is 1 minute, the video is locked. The time is 1 minute.
Av-in input function（additional camera required）
This machine supports av-in video image input. When used with a rear camera, this machine supports a picture-in-picture display. When reversing, it automatically switches to the image of the rear camera and automatically displays it in full screen.

Screen switching
When the machine is connected to the in-car camera or the rear camera, you can switch the screen among the following three modes by pressing the “up key”: (1) picture-in-picture mode (2) front camera mode (3) in-car camera or rear camera mode

Parking monitoring function
This machine has a parking monitoring function. After the parking monitoring function is turned on, when your car is hit when it is parked, the recorder will automatically turn on and record the image of the incident to protect your car. Each recording is for 30 seconds, then automatically shuts down and the video is locked to prevent overwriting. If your car is hit again, the recorder will turn on again and record again for 30 seconds. (Note: In this case, if the internal battery of the recorder is too low, the recorder will be turned on, but will not be able to complete the recording and will be turned off).

Special features

1. Reversing rear view (rear camera is required)
   First, the car charger must be connected to the recorder, and the red wire on the rear camera extension cable must be connected to the positive electrode of the reversing light. After the car is started, the device will automatically start the video recording state, and if there is reversing in any state, the reversing image will be displayed. After reversing, the machine will automatically return to recording mode（This function is not available for special models with reverse control line as negative）
2. RESET setting
   If the machine is abnormal or crashes during use, you can press the RESET button through a small needle through the small hole of the shell to reset the machine, or find “Factory Reset” in “Menu” and press “OK” to restore factory settings (if conditions permit).
3. WiFi function
   Long press the mode button to turn on the Wi-Fi function. In Wi-Fi mode, long press the mode key to turn off Wi-Fi.

Steps for connecting a smartphone (or tablet) to the dashcam

1. Download the app from the app store on your smartphone or tablet (“viidure” or “honour robot” for iPhone, “viidure” or “roadcam” for Google phone).
2. Long press the mode button to turn on the Wi-Fi function (when the Wi-Fi is off).
3. Turn on “Wi-Fi” in the settings of your smartphone or tablet.
4. Enter the app and follow the prompts on the app interface. Generally, the app will first ask to connect the camera, find a Wi-Fi signal similar to
   “wifi_camera_ac54_XXXXXX” in the “Wi-Fi” signal of the mobile phone or tablet, then click connect and enter the password “12345678”, connection succeeded. This signal will have an extra “!” on the “Wi-Fi” signal sign. This is no problem, but it means that the signal cannot be used to enter the Internet, but only the dash cam.
5. Exit the interface of your smartphone or tablet, re-enter the app, and click to enter the dash cam, so that you can operate the dash cam or watch and download videos and photos.

Note:

1. The car USB port may not support enough power for the front dashcam, please use the car charger that comes with the front dashcam.
2. The built-in battery is just for the parking monitor, while driving， please always keep the dashcam connected to the car cigarette lighter or 12V power supply.
3. The video duration recorded by the dash cam has two modes: 1 minute and 3 minutes, which you can set in the menu.
4. When the dash cam is turned on, the screen will turn off after 1 minute/5 minutes/10 minutes, or the screen will remain on, even if the screen is off, the dash cam is still recording video, you can set the screen off time in the menu.
5. When your phone (or tablet) is connected to the dash cam, your phone will not be able to access the Internet， you will not be able to access social media or browse online news, because the wireless signal emitted by the dash cam is not an Internet signal. If you need to connect to the internet, you must disconnect your phone (or tablet) and dash cam.

Troubleshooting

Under normal operating conditions, if the product has abnormal problems, please refer to the following methods to solve.

Can not boot
Check whether the wiring is installed correctly, or take out the memory card and restart the machine.

Automatically stop recording during recording, or do not cycle recording
Due to the huge amount of high-definition video data, it is possible that the read and write speed of the memory card cannot keep up. Please use a high-speed TF card such as a C10 high-speed card.

The film is not clear
Please check the lens for dirt and fingerprints. Please clean the surface of the lens before shooting to keep the lens clean and tidy.

Video recording is good and bad
The camera effect has a lot to do with the shooting light environment, such as backlight, forward light, and the intensity of the light will cause different video effects.

The dash cam turns on and off by itself repeatedly

1. The battery is not charged enough and the parking monitoring is on. need to be connected to the power supply immediately;
2. It may be that the charger is unstable. Please remove and reinsert to try;
3. There may be a problem with the vehicle voltage. Please try another car;
4. There may be a problem with the SD card. Please take out the SD card and give it a try, if it is an SD card problem, please contact the support team and we can send a new one;
5. It may be that the SD card is full, and the video recording cannot be looped now. The SD card needs to be formatted;
6. It may be a setting problem. Please try to restore factory settings in the menu;
7. The motherboard of the product is broken and needs to be repaired. Please contact the support team and we will solve it according to the actual situation.

The suction cup keeps falling off:
Please tear off the plastic film on the suction cup first. Put down the pinch plate on the bracket, clean the glass and press the suction cup firmly to fix it on the windshield, then push the pinch plate up to lock the suction cup, then the suction will be very tight and will not fall off.

Disclaimer

Special note: The machine must be in the recording working state before it can record files.
However, the image will be damaged or lost in the following situations:

1. During recording, pulling out the TF card will cause the last recording file to be damaged or lost.
2. Illegal power failure during recording will cause the last video to be damaged or lost.
3. The video is damaged or lost due to the destructive collision of the machine during the video recording.
4. Excessive collision during the recording process causes the memory card to become loose at the time, which will damage the files at the time or cause the files to be lost.
