How to Use AstroAI T8

To use the AstroAI T8 Car Battery Jump Starter, follow these general steps:

1. Ensure the jump starter is fully charged.
2. Turn off all electrical components in the car.
3. Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal of the car battery and the black clamp to the negative terminal.
4. Turn on the jump starter.
5. Start the car engine.
6. Once the car starts, turn off the jump starter.
7. Remove the black clamp, followed by the red clamp.

• Use the included jumper clamps only. Do not use the jumper clamps if the clamps or cables are damaged.
• Ensure the connectors are clean and the jumper clamps are undam­aged before starting your car. Jumping performance may weaken if the battery socket is dirty.
• Ensure the blue plug is inserted into the socket entirely, or it may burn.
• Do not jumpstart your car continuously; doing so may cause the jumpstart to overheat and damage the product. Allow a 30-sec­ond interval between continuous operations to avoid overheating the product.
• Remove the product from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds of jumpstarting your car. Failure to do so may cause damage.
• Do not store or use the product in temperatures exceeding 158 °F (70 °C).
• Recycle the product immediately if liquids begin leaking from it.
• The battery may leak under extreme conditions. Do not touch the leaking liquid without protective gloves. If your skin contacts the liquid, use soap and water to wash it immediately. If your eyes contact the liquid, please use water to wash it for at least 10 minutes and immediately see a doctor.
• You may dispose of the lithium battery according to local guidelines when its service life has ended.

PREPARATION

Fully charge the jump starter after receiving it.

1. Checking the battery level
   The screen will display the battery level after being powered.
2. Charging the device
   • Connect the USB-A end of the USB charging cable to the charger.
   • Connect the USB-C end of the USB charging cable to the Type-C port of the jump starter.

Note:

1. The charge indicator will flash when the jump starter is charging.
2. The USB-C symbol and the remaining battery level will be displayed on the screen. The last digit of the battery level will flash.
3. The charge indicator will start lighting after it has fully charged and the last digit of the battery level will stop flashing.

INSTRUCTIONS

Jumpstarting Function

1. Make sure the smart battery clamps are fully inserted into the jump starter. Connect the red clamp to the battery’s positive terminal(+) and the black clamp to the battery’s negative terminal(-).
2. Operate the jump starter according to the on-screen information.
   1. The START symbol will display on the screen: Correct connection, move to step 3.
   2. The REVERSE symbol displays on the screen and the jump starter is beeping: Reversed connection, please fix the connection. When the START symbol appears on the screen, move to step 3.
   3. The BOOST symbol will illuminate and “E6” will flash on the screen while the products emit an audible buzz: Low battery, please press and hold the START Button for 2-3 seconds, the BOOST symbol will display on the screen and a 30 seconds countdown will begin. Start your engine within 30 seconds.
3. Activate the vehicle”s ignition to jumpstart it.
4. Remove the jumper cables after successfully starting the car.

Tips

1. Turn off any electrical devices in the vehicle before starting it.
2. If the vehicle does not start within 5 seconds of attempting ignition, stop and remove the clamps. Wait for 60 seconds and retry step 3.
3. Ignite your engine within 30 seconds of Boost mode.
4. The automatic testing (eight smart protection functions) will be inactive when using the Boost function.
5. Ensure the jumper cables are connected correctly, and the battery level is above 20%.

Power Bank Function

1. Insert the USB plug into the USB output port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB Charging cable to the device to be charged.
3. Press the Power Button to charge the devices. The jump starter will automatically detect the devices’ specifications and charge them at the proper voltage.

Ill. 15 V DC Output Function 

1. Connect the cigarette lighter adapter to the DC Output Port of the product.
2. Connect the other end of the cigarette lighter adapter to a portable car vacuum or similar DC product.
3. Press the Power Button to power the connected device. The product will automatically detect the devices’ specifications and power them at the proper voltage.

Illumination Function

• Press and hold the Power Button to turn on the product.
• Press the Flashlight Button to turn on the light when in power-on status.
• Press the Flashlight Button to switch between the flashlight modes: Illumination-Strobe-SOS-Red warning light-Tum off.

MAINTENANCE

• To maximize the battery’s performance and service life, please charge the jump starter when its battery level is lower than 80%.
• Please fully charge the jump starter if it is about to be idle for a long time. And charge it every three months to extend its service life.
