So, let’s take a look at the fuses and fuse box information for your 2023 Chevrolet Camaro.
Headlamp Aiming
Front Headlamp Aiming
Headlamp aim has been preset and should need no further adjustment.
If the vehicle is damaged in a crash, the headlamp aim may be affected.
If adjustment to the headlamps is necessary, see your dealer.
Bulb Replacement
For the proper type of replacement bulbs, or any bulb changing procedure not listed in this section, contact your dealer.
Caution
Do not replace incandescent bulbs with aftermarket LED replacement bulbs. This can cause damage to the vehicle electrical system.
Halogen Bulbs
Warning
Halogen bulbs have pressurized gas inside and can burst if you drop or scratch the bulb. You or others could be injured. Be sure to read and follow the instructions on the bulb package.
High Intensity Discharge (HID) Lighting
Warning
The High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting system operates at a very high voltage. If you try to service any of the system components, you could be seriously injured. Have your dealer or a qualified technician service them.
LED Lighting
This vehicle has several LED lamps. For replacement of any LED lighting assembly, contact your dealer.
Back-Up Lamps
For the base and the uplevel taillamp assembly, only the back-up bulb is replaceable. Removal of the taillamp assembly is not necessary to change this bulb.
To replace one of these bulbs:
- Open the trunk. See Trunk .
- Remove the three pushpin fasteners and cover.
- Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.
- Pull the old bulb straight out of the bulb socket.
- Push the new bulb straight into the bulb socket until it clicks.
- Turn the bulb socket clockwise to reinstall.
- Install the three pushpin fasteners and cover.
License Plate Lamp
To replace one of these bulbs:
- Unclip the license plate lamp from the fascia opening.
- Pull the license plate lamp down through the fascia opening.
- Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull the bulb straight out of the lamp socket.
- Install the new bulb.
- Push the bulb straight into the socket and turn clockwise to reinstall.
- Reinstall the license plate lamp by lifting it through the fascia opening until the clip is in place.
Electrical System
Electrical System Overload
The vehicle has fuses and circuit breakers to protect against an electrical system overload.
When the current electrical load is too heavy, the circuit breaker opens and closes, protecting the circuit until the current load returns to normal or the problem is fixed.
This greatly reduces the chance of circuit overload and fire caused by electrical problems.
Fuses and circuit breakers protect power devices in the vehicle.
If there is a problem on the road and a fuse needs to be replaced, the same amperage fuse can be borrowed. Choose some feature of the vehicle that is not needed to use and replace it as soon as possible.
To check a fuse, look at the band inside the fuse. If the band is broken or melted, replace the fuse. Be sure to replace a bad fuse with a fuse of the identical size and rating.
Replacing a Blown Fuse
- Turn off the vehicle.
- Locate the fuse puller in the engine compartment fuse block.
- Use the fuse puller to remove the fuse from the top or side, as shown above.
- If the fuse must be replaced immediately, borrow a replacement fuse with the same amperage from the fuse block. Choose a vehicle feature that is not needed to safely operate the vehicle. Repeat Steps 2-3.
- Insert the replacement fuse into the empty slot of the blown fuse.
At the next opportunity, see your dealer to replace the blown fuse.
Headlamp Wiring
An electrical overload may cause the lamps to go on and off, or in some cases to remain off. Have the headlamp wiring checked right away if the lamps go on and off or remain off.
Windshield Wipers
If the wiper motor overheats due to heavy snow or ice, the windshield wipers will stop until the motor cools and will then restart.
Although the circuit is protected from electrical overload, overload due to heavy snow or ice may cause wiper linkage damage. Always clear ice and heavy snow from the windshield before using the windshield wipers.
If the overload is caused by an electrical problem and not snow or ice, be sure to get it fixed.
Fuses and Circuit Breakers
The wiring circuits in the vehicle are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses and circuit breakers.
This greatly reduces the chance of damage caused by electrical problems.
Danger
Fuses and circuit breakers are marked with their ampere rating. Do not exceed the specified amperage rating when replacing fuses and circuit breakers. Use of an oversized fuse or circuit breaker can result in a vehicle fire. You and others could be seriously injured or killed.
Warning
Installation or use of fuses that do not meet GM’s original fuse specifications is dangerous. The fuses could fail, and result in a fire. You or others could be injured or killed, and the vehicle could be damaged.
See Accessories and Modifications and General Information.
To check or replace a blown fuse, see Electrical System Overload .
To identify and check fuses, circuit breakers, and relays, see Engine Compartment Fuse
Block and Rear Compartment Fuse Block.
Engine Compartment Fuse Block
To remove the hinged fuse block cover, press the clip at the front of the cover, and swing it up.
Caution
Do not pull the engine compartment fuse block lever, since it is intended only for service purposes. If pulled, vehicle malfunction may occur.
Caution
Spilling liquid on any electrical component on the vehicle may damage it. Always keep the covers on any electrical component.
The vehicle may not be equipped with all of the fuses, relays, and features shown.

FAQs
The fuse box in the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro is a compartment that holds electrical fuses and relays that protect the vehicle’s numerous electrical connections.
The fuse box in the 2023 Camaro is usually situated in the engine compartment, although another one can be found inside the cabin, usually towards the driver’s side.
Typically, the fuse box cover must be removed to gain access to the fuse box in the engine compartment. You may need to unscrew a panel or remove a cover at the driver’s side to access the internal fuse box.
Fuses protect electrical circuits in the Camaro from overloading, which can cause damage or even fires. If an excessive current goes through them, they break the circuit.
A blown fuse is frequently distinguished by a clearly broken wire inside the fuse. Furthermore, the metal strip within the fuse may appear melted or discolored.
Replace a blown fuse with a new one of the same amperage rating. To avoid electrical difficulties, use the correct amperage.
The 2023 Camaro owner’s handbook should include a fuse box schematic as well as a description of fuse locations and their accompanying functions.
Avoid overloading electrical circuits and be cautious while installing accessories or making changes to the vehicle’s electrical system to avoid blown fuses.
No, it is not recommended to use a fuse with a higher amperage than provided. This can cause electrical problems or even fires. Use the appropriate amperage fuse at all times.
If you’re unsure about the operation of a fuse, see your owner’s manual or contact a Chevrolet dealership or a skilled repair.
It is not suggested to replace fuses with circuit breakers unless the electrical system has been properly inspected and modified. Use only the recommended fuses.
Some automobiles may include extra fuses in the fuse box or a spare fuse kit. Check your owner’s manual or the fuse box for any spares that came with the vehicle.
Fuses cannot be reset. When a fuse blows, it must be replaced with a new one.
To search for recalls involving fuses or other components, go to the Chevrolet website or call your local dealership.
Altering your Camaro’s fuse box or electrical system can be difficult and may violate your warranty. If you intend to make changes, it is important to consult with a specialist.
