2022 Chrysler Voyager Fuses And Fuse Box Setup
The 2022 Chrysler Voyager’s fuses and fuse box system are an important but often overlooked part of this flexible minivan that makes it safe, reliable, and useful all around. The electrical circuitry of the car is protected by these complicated parts, which carefully send and control power to different important systems and devices. The fuse box is an important part of keeping the Voyager running smoothly. It protects important functions like lighting, climate control, and entertainment systems, and it also makes sure that safety features like airbags and anti-lock brakes work perfectly. In this in-depth look, we’ll go over the 2022 Chrysler Voyager’s fuses and fuse box, explaining what they do, how they’re organized, and how important they are for keeping this minivan running safely and smoothly every day.
FUSES
General Information
WARNING
- When replacing a blown fuse, always use an appropriate replacement fuse with the same amp rating as the original fuse. Never replace a fuse with another fuse of higher amp rating. Never replace a blown fuse with metal wires or any other material. Do not place a fuse inside a circuit breaker cavity or vice versa. Failure to use proper fuses may result in serious personal injury, fire and/or property damage.
- Before replacing a fuse, make sure that the ignition is off and that all the other services are switched off and/or disengaged.
- If the replaced fuse blows again, contact an authorized dealer.
- If a general protection fuse for safety systems (air bag system, braking system), power unit systems (engine system, transmission system) or steering system blows, contact an authorized dealer.
The fuses protect electrical systems against excessive current. When a device does not work, you must check the fuse element inside the blade fuse for a break/melt.
Also, please be aware that using power outlets for extended periods of time with the engine off may result in vehicle battery discharge.

Underhood Fuses
The Power Distribution Center (PDC) is located in the engine compartment near the battery. This center contains cartridge fuses, mini-fuses, micro-fuses, circuit breakers and relays. A label that identifies each component is printed on the inside of the cover. Before any procedure is done on the PDC, make sure engine is turned off.
Remove the cover by unlatching the two locks located at each side of the PDC cover, avoid using screwdrivers or any other tool to remove the cover, since they may apply excessive force and result in a broken/damaged part. After service is done, secure the cover with its two locks.
CAUTION
When installing the Power Distribution Center cover, it is important to ensure the cover is properly positioned and fully latched. Failure to do so may allow water to get into the Power Distribution Center and possibly result in an electrical system failure.
NOTE:
The function and amperage of the following fuses are different, depending on vehicle trim level and content.

FAQs
Fuses are safety devices that secure the electrical circuits in your vehicle. They prevent excessive current flow, thereby protecting electrical components from overwhelming damage
The 2022 Chrysler Voyager typically has two fuse boxes: one in the engine compartment and one in the interior of the vehicle.
To access the fuse boxes, consult your owner’s manual for specific locations, then remove the cover to reveal the fuses inside.
The Voyager employs blade-style fuses, which are frequently color-coded and labeled to denote their amperage classification.
Blade fuses safeguard the electrical components of your vehicle by breaking the circuit when too much current flows through them.
Inspect the fuse for a fractured filament, or use a multimeter to test continuity. The owner’s manual also contains a list of functions associated with each fuse.
It is not advised to use a fuse with a different amperage rating, as this can result in electrical issues or component damage. Always replace fuses with fuses of the same amperage rating.
Alternate sources for replacement fuses include auto parts stores and Chrysler dealerships.
Overload, electrical faults, and short circuits can cause a fuse to explode. It is essential to identify and resolve the root cause of the problem.
To replace a blown fuse, locate the corresponding fuse, use a fuse puller or pliers to remove it, and replace it with a new one of the same amperage rating
Avoid electrical shock by always disconnecting the vehicle’s battery before replacing fuses. Use caution when handling fuses and avoid touching any exposed metal elements.
Reoccurring fuse issues may indicate an underlying electrical issue. It is advisable to have a professional technician inspect your vehicle to diagnose and repair the problem.
It’s not recommended to bypass a fuse, as it can cause additional damage or safety hazards. A broken fuse should always be replaced with a new one.
Refer to your owner’s manual for a complete list of fuse functions and their respective locations.
Check your fuses frequently and replace any that are burned. Check fuses during routine vehicle inspections or if you suspect an electrical problem. Maintenance schedules vary, but it’s a good idea to do so.
