Years after the Crosstour left Honda’s SUV lineup, the far boxier Passport took its place as a midsizer for those who want more than the CR-V can offer. The Passport saw updates for 2022 that included cosmetic changes, tech upgrades, and a rugged-looking TrailSport model, so the 2023 model goes unchanged.
Approach and departure angles are sharp at 21.1 degrees and 24.3 degrees. Honda has designed this SUV with a 100,000 +/- tune up interval.
All Passport trims come with LED low-beam headlights. All trims come with auto high-beam. When the headlight control is in the AUTO position, this system automatically turns on the high beams when there are no other vehicles detected ahead of the Passport.
The 2023 Honda Passport has a standard tri-zone climate control system—including the ability to activate the climate controls remotely—as well as a one-touch power moonroof that offers fresh air and expansive views.
Passport includes an innovative and useful blind spot information system (BSI)14. A pair of sensors, one on each rear corner of the vehicle, can detect a vehicle that may be positioned in an adjacent lane.
Power-folding, auto-dimming, heated sideview mirrors with integrated turn signals and reverse gear tilt-down. Roof rails. 20-in.
Its other upgrades are LED fog lights, roof rails, trim-specific leather upholstery, ambient LED interior lighting, heated power-folding side mirrors, a heated windshield-wiper rest zone (to help during icing conditions), and rear side-window sunshades.
The 2023 Honda Passport top speed is 134 MPH fast.
The 2023 Honda Passport Elite trim level brings another level of luxury into play with features like a wireless phone charger, leather-trimmed seats, and heated seats throughout the cabin.
All trims of the 2022 Honda Passport have a 19.5 gallon gas tank. How big is the gas tank on a 2022 Honda Passport?
Make sure the headlight lever is in the low beam position with the switch rotated to the AUTO position. The auto high beam system indicator comes on. To turn the system on: Pull and hold the headlight lever toward you for about 30 seconds, until the indicator flashes once.
When choosing between the Honda Passport or CR-V, you’ll want to know that the Honda Passport is overall a larger vehicle. It provides more cargo space and more overall passenger room in the cabin.
