The Honda Civic Sedan 2019 is a compact car manufactured by Honda, a well-known Japanese automaker. As part of the tenth generation of the Honda Civic lineup, the Civic Sedan offers a blend of style, comfort, and efficiency. On the exterior, the Civic Sedan displays a sleek and aerodynamic design. It features a bold front grille, distinctive LED headlights, and available fog lights. The sedan body style offers a more traditional look compared to the hatchback variant, with a spacious trunk providing ample cargo capacity. The 2019 Civic Sedan is powered by a choice of two engines. The base LX and Sport trims come equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. The higher trims, such as EX, EX-L, and Touring, feature a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, generating 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is standard across all trims, providing smooth and efficient performance.

Step inside the Civic Sedan, and you’ll find a well-designed and comfortable interior. The cabin offers seating for up to five passengers, with supportive and adjustable front seats. The rear seats provide sufficient legroom and headroom for passengers. The trunk offers ample cargo space, allowing you to transport your belongings with ease. The Civic Sedan incorporates various technology features to enhance the driving experience. The base LX trim comes with a 5-inch central display screen, Bluetooth connectivity, and a four-speaker sound system. Higher trims offer a 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, allowing you to connect your smartphone seamlessly. Additional available features include a premium sound system, satellite radio, and Honda’s HondaLink infotainment system.

In terms of safety, the 2019 Civic Sedan is equipped with a range of advanced features. Honda Sensing, a suite of driver-assistive technologies, is available on select trims and includes features like collision mitigation braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and road departure mitigation. Other safety features include a multi-angle rearview camera and available Honda LaneWatch, which provides a live video feed of the passenger-side blind spot when signaling right. When it comes to fuel efficiency, the Civic Sedan offers impressive numbers. With the base 2.0-liter engine and the CVT, it achieves an EPA-estimated fuel economy of around 30 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. The turbocharged 1.5-liter engine provides slightly higher fuel efficiency. Overall, the Honda Civic Sedan 2019 caters to those seeking a reliable, comfortable, and efficient compact sedan. It combines stylish design, advanced technology, and a host of safety features, making it a popular choice among drivers looking for a versatile and practical daily driver.

Exhaust Gas Hazard

Carbon Monoxide Gas

The engine exhaust from this vehicle contains carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, and highly toxic gas. As long as you properly maintain your vehicle, carbon monoxide gas will not get into the interior.

  • Have the exhaust system inspected for leaks whenever
    • The exhaust system is making an unusual noise.
    • The exhaust system may have been damaged.
    • The vehicle is raised for an oil change.

When you operate a vehicle with the trunk open, airflow can pull exhaust gas into the interior and create a hazardous condition. If you must drive with the trunk open, open all the windows and set the heating system*/climate control system* as shown below.

  1. Select the fresh air mode.
  2. Select the mode.
  3. Set the fan speed to high.
  4. Set the temperature control to a comfortable setting.

Adjust the heating system*/climate control system* in the same manner if you sit in your parked vehicle with the engine running.

WARNING
Carbon monoxide gas is toxic. Breathing it can cause unconsciousness and even kill you. Avoid any enclosed areas or activities that expose you to carbon monoxide. 3WARNING Carbon monoxide gas is toxic. Breathing it can cause unconsciousness and even kill you.
