Hyundai Kona-EV 2023 Safe Exit Warning (SEW)

The 2023 Hyundai Kona-N features a novel feature called Safe Exit Warning (SEW), which protects passengers from possible dangers when getting out of the car. SEW deploys modern sensors to vigilantly monitor the Kona-N’s surroundings, assessing the safety of passengers opening their doors to escape. The technology ensures that passengers are aware of any possible hazards outside the car by instantly issuing visual and auditory alerts when it detects impediments or oncoming traffic. A crucial addition to the 2023 Hyundai Kona-N’s array of safety features, SEW can be adjusted to suit different sensitivity preferences and is adaptable, providing protection in confined spaces, urban and highway environments, and both. Its use promotes the safety of both road users and passengers.
