Instrument Cluster Control
Adjusting Instrument Cluster Illumination The brightness of the instrument panel illumination is changed by pressing the illumination control button (“+” or “-”) when the Engine Start/Stop button is ON, or the tail lights are turned on.- If you hold the illumination control button (“+” or “-”), the brightness will be changed continuously.
- If the brightness reaches the maximum or minimum level, an alarm will sound.
LCD window control
Type A Type B The LCD window modes can be changed by using the control buttons on the steering wheel.- MODE button for changing the LCD MODES
- MOVE the scroll switch to select the items
- OK: SET/RESET button for setting the items or resetting the items
Gauges
Speedometer The speedometer indicates the speed of the vehicle and is calibrated in miles per hour (mph) and/or kilometres per hour (km/h). Tachometer (if equipped) The tachometer indicates the approximate number of engine revolutions per minute (rpm). When moving the shift lever to the “S” (SPORT) mode, the engine tachometer is displayed while switching to SPORT mode. Use the tachometer to select the correct shift points and to prevent lugging and/or over-revving the engine. CAUTION Do not operate the engine within the tachometer’s RED ZONE. This may cause severe engine damage. Hybrid System Gauge Type A Type B The hybrid system gauge indicates whether the current driving condition is fuel efficient or not.- CHARGE: This shows that the energy made by the vehicle is being converted to electrical energy.(Regenerated energy)
- ECO: Shows that the vehicle is being driven in an Eco-friendly manner.
- POWER: Shows that the vehicle is exceeding the Eco-friendly range.
- “EV” indicator ON: The vehicle is driven using the electric motor or the gasoline engine is stopped except for an engine that can remain idle for automatic heating and air conditioning operation in winter.
- “EV” indicator OFF: The vehicle is driven using the gasoline engine.
- The fuel tank capacity is given in chapter 9.
- The fuel gauge is supplemented by a low fuel warning light which will illuminate when the fuel tank is nearly empty.
- On inclines or curves, the fuel gauge pointer may fluctuate or the low fuel warning light may come on earlier than usual due to the movement of fuel in the tank.
- The distance to empty is the estimated distance the vehicle can be driven with the remaining fuel.
- Distance range : 1 ~ 9,999 mi. or 1 ~ 9,999 km
- If the estimated distance is below 1 mi.(1 km), the trip computer will display “—-” as the distance to empty.
- If the level of the remaining fuel is more than three-quarters, more than 3 liters of fuel must be refilled for the fuel gauge to change. In other cases, more than 6 liters of fuel must be refilled for the vehicle to change the fuel gauge.
- Electric range (1)
- Gasoline range (2) The distance to empty is the estimated distance the vehicle can be driven with the remaining fuel.
- Total range (3) Electric distance to empty(1) + Gasoline distance to empty(2)
- If the vehicle is not on level ground or the battery power has been interrupted, the distance to the empty function may not operate correctly.
- The distance to empty may differ from the actual driving distance as it is an estimate of the available driving distance.
- The fuel economy and distance to empty may vary significantly based on driving conditions, driving habits, and the condition of the vehicle.
- Odometer range : 0 ~ 999,999 miles or 1,599,999 kilometres.
- Temperature range: -40 ~ 140°F (-40 ~ 60°C)
- Park 😛
- Reverse: R
- Neutral: N
- Drive 😀
