  3. Frame and Suspension: The bike features a lightweight and durable chromium-molybdenum steel frame, designed for optimal handling and stability. It comes with fully adjustable WP Xplor front forks and WP Xplor PDS rear shock absorber, providing excellent suspension performance and adjustability for various riding conditions.
  4. Electronics: The KTM 300 XC TPI comes equipped with advanced electronic features. It includes a digital engine management system, which ensures precise fueling and ignition timing. The bike also features an electric starter, making it easy to start in any situation.
  5. Ergonomics and Design: The bike has a slim and ergonomic design, allowing riders to easily maneuver through tight trails. It features a comfortable seat, adjustable handlebars, and well-positioned controls for optimal rider comfort and control.
  6. Brakes and Wheels: The bike is equipped with high-performance Brembo brakes, providing excellent stopping power and control. It rides on lightweight and durable wheels fitted with off-road tires for enhanced traction and durability.

Overall, the KTM 300 XC TPI 2020 is a top-of-the-line off-road motorcycle that combines the power and agility of a two-stroke engine with the benefits of modern fuel injection technology. It is designed for riders who demand high performance and reliability in challenging off-road environments.

Work rules
Special tools are necessary for certain tasks. The tools are not a component of the vehicle but can be ordered using the number in parentheses. Example: bearing puller (15112017000) During assembly, use new parts to replace parts that cannot be reused (e.g. self-locking screws and nuts, seals, sealing rings, O-rings, pins, and lock washers). In the case of certain screws, a screw adhesive (e.g. Loctite®) is required. Observe the manufacturer’s instructions. After disassembly, clean the parts that are to be reused and check them for damage and wear. Change damaged or worn parts. After completing a repair or service work, check the operating safety of the vehicle.

Warning
Engine failure The engine will not be lubricated unless there is 2-stroke oil in the oil tank. If the oil level warning light lights up, the 2-stroke oil is sufficient for the remaining tank of fuel.

  • As soon as the oil level warning light lights up, ride for no longer than until the remaining fuel in the tank is depleted.
  • At the next opportunity add 2-stroke oil before you refuel.
  • Time the oil pump if the 2-stroke oil hose has been removed or the 2-stroke oil tank has been fully depleted in error.

Service
A prerequisite for perfect operation and prevention of premature wear is that the service, care, and tuning work on the engine and chassis is properly carried out as described in the Owner’s Manual. An incorrect suspension setting can lead to damage and breakage of chassis components. Use of the vehicle under difficult conditions, such as on sand or on wet and muddy surfaces, can result in significantly increased wear of components, such as the drive train, brake system, or suspension components. For this reason, it may be necessary to inspect or replace parts before the next scheduled service. It is imperative that you adhere to the stipulated run-in times and service intervals. If you observe these exactly, you will ensure a much longer service life for your motorcycle. The relevant mileage or time interval is whichever occurs first.

Figures
The figures contained in the manual may depict special equipment. In the interest of clarity, some components may be shown disassembled or may not be shown at all. It is not always necessary to disassemble the component to perform the activity in question. Please follow the instructions in the text.
