2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo Fuses and Fuse Box | How to fix a Blown Fuse
The 2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo has a complex electrical system that is run by a network of fuses and a fuse box. This system is an important part of making sure that different parts of the car work properly. Usually, you can get to the fuse box from the driver’s side or under the hood. It’s carefully placed inside the car and holds a variety of fuses that are meant to protect different circuits. By breaking the circuit in the event of a power surge or a short circuit, these fuses protect against electrical overloads and damage to sensitive parts. In the sad event of a blown fuse, the problem is usually easy to figure out and fix. The first step is to find the fuse box and, using the vehicle’s instructions or the cover of the fuse box, figure out which fuse is connected to the system that isn’t working. Once the blown fuse is found, it can be easily replaced at an auto parts shop with a new one that has the same amperage rating. By keeping the integrity of its electrical systems, this easy but effective fix makes sure that the Maserati MC20 Cielo keeps giving drivers a smooth experience.

On the vehicle are mainly used with mini-and maxi-fuses with blade engagement.
Besides these, there are other types of fuse provided with holes for fixing the cable connection terminals. For the replacement of these fuses contact an Authorized Maserati Dealer.
Replace the faulty fuse with a new one featuring the same rating, by using appropriate forceps.
The color identifies the value of the fuses in amperes which is also reported on them.
The table shows the match between the color and amperage of mini and maxi fuses.

CAUTION!
- Never replace a blown fuse with anything other than a new and suitable fuse (same rating).
- After replacing a fuse, if the fault recurs, contact an Authorized Maserati Dealer.
Position of Fuses
The fuses are located in three parts of the vehicle, namely:
- inside the fuse and relay boxes, in the front luggage compartment, under a central cover;
- on the body computer, behind the passenger’s footrest, under the dashboard;
- inside the fuse and relay boxes located in a covered area, behind the left cover of the engine compartment (for MC20), and inside the fuse and relay boxes located under the central trap door in the engine compartment (for MC20 Cielo).
Fuse Boxes under the Front Luggage Compartment
- To access the box it is necessary to lift the front hood (see “Access the Luggage Compartments” in the section “Before Driving”).
- Remove the cargo net and the floor mat.
- To access the fuses, remove the cover in the luggage compartment, then remove the module cover unhooking the lateral locks as shown in the picture. To recognize the reference number of the fuses in the table below, see the diagram inside the cover just removed.
The table points out the position as featured on the cover, and the type and function of the fuses included in the box.
CAUTION!
- After replacement, refit the protective cover of the module.
- If you need to wash the engine compartment (not valid for MC20 Cielo), do not direct the water for too long directly on the module.

Fuse Boxes in the Engine Compartment
These boxes are located in an internal area that can be accessed only by removing the left engine compartment cover (for MC20 only). Considering the complexity of this operation, we recommend having the fuses replaced by an Authorized Maserati Dealer.
For MC20 Cielo, the boxes are located under the central trap door in the engine compartment; remove the module cover unhooking the lateral locks as shown in the picture.
The table points out the position as featured in the figure, and the type and function of the fuses in the box.

FAQs
Fuses in the Maserati MC20 Cielo protect the vehicle’s electrical components by breaking the circuit in case of excessive current.
The fuse box in the MC20 Cielo is typically located in the engine compartment or interior cabin, and its exact position can be found in the owner’s manual.
The MC20 Cielo may have multiple fuse boxes, with one in the engine compartment and another in the interior, depending on the model and configuration.
The vehicle likely uses blade-type fuses, which are common in many modern automobiles.
A blown fuse can often be identified by a visible break in the metal filament inside the fuse or through a fuse tester.
Yes, a blown fuse can lead to various electrical problems, such as malfunctioning lights, power windows, or other components.
It’s common for vehicles to come with a spare fuse kit, but it’s essential to check the owner’s manual for the specific details.
Regularly inspect the fuses during routine maintenance checks or if you encounter electrical issues in the vehicle.
It’s not recommended to use a fuse with a different amperage rating, as it may not provide adequate protection and could lead to further electrical problems.
Common causes include electrical shorts, faulty components, or issues with the vehicle’s wiring.
Perform a visual inspection of wiring, connectors, and affected components. Also, use diagnostic tools if available to pinpoint the issue.
Follow the instructions in the owner’s manual, which typically involves locating the fuse box, identifying the blown fuse, and replacing it with the appropriate spare fuse.
Check with Maserati or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for any recalls or issues related to fuses in your specific model.
If DIY attempts are unsuccessful, it’s recommended to seek assistance from a qualified mechanic or Maserati service center to diagnose and address the electrical issue.
