The 2021 Mazda3’s 2.5-liter engine produces 186 horsepower.
In certain model levels, the 2021 Mazda3 is offered with a six-speed manual transmission.
There are five trim options available for the 2021 Mazda3: the base model, Select, Preferred, Premium, and the sporty Mazda3 Turbo.
The 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the Mazda3 Turbo generates 227 horsepower (or 250 horsepower when using premium fuel).
The Mazda3 Turbo has a six-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment, while a six-speed manual transmission is also an option.
Depending on the engine and transmission setup, fuel economy varies. A rating of 28 city/36 highway mpg is projected by the EPA for the standard 2.0-liter engine with an automatic transmission, while a rating of 26 city/35 highway mpg is estimated for the 2.5-liter engine with an automatic transmission.
