Seat Mii 2020-2021

The Seat Mii is a small car for cities that came out in 2011. It is part of the “Up!” line of small cars made by the Volkswagen Group. It shares its base with the Volkswagen Up! and the Skoda Citigo. The Seat Mii is made to be a useful and cheap car for driving in cities. It is small, which makes it easy to move around and park in tight areas. The Mii has a simple, clean appearance that puts an emphasis on how well it works. Even though the Mii is small, its interior is usually comfy and well-equipped. It can fit up to four people, and the back seats can be folded down to make more room for goods. The Mii’s interior is simple and easy to use, with current features like smartphone integration, touchscreen infotainment systems, and safety features like airbags and stability control. The Seat Mii usually comes with a range of small gasoline engines for its motor. These engines have enough power for going around town and help the Mii use less gas. There are both manual and automatic engines available.

Safety

Important information regarding the front passenger’s airbag
Read the additional information carefully ››› page 18.
Read and always observe the safety information included in the following chapters:

  • Safety distance with respect to the passenger airbag ››› in Introduction on page 60.
  • Objects between the passenger and the passenger side airbag ››› in Front airbags on page 63.

The passenger-side front airbag, when enabled, is a serious risk for a child that is facing backward since the airbag can strike the seat with such force that it can cause serious or fatal injuries. Children up to 12 years old should always travel on the rear seat.
Therefore we strongly recommend you to transport children on the rear seats. This is the safest location in the vehicle. Alternatively, the front passenger airbag can be disabled with a key-operated switch ››› page 64. When transporting children, use a child seat suitable for the age and size of each child ››› page 67.

WARNING

  • If a child seat is secured to the front passenger seat, the risk to the child of sustaining
  • critical or fatal injuries in the event of an accident increase.
  • An inflating front passenger airbag can strike the rear-facing child seat and project it with great force against the door, the roof or the backrest.
  • Never install a child seat facing backward on the front passenger seat unless the front passenger front airbag has been disabled. Risk of potentially fatal injuries to the child!
  • However, if it is necessary, in exceptional cases, to transport a child in the front passenger seat, the front passenger front airbag must always be disabled
››› page 64. If the passenger seat has a height adjustment option, move it to the highest, most upright position. If you have a fixed seat, do not install any child restraint system in this location.
