Never drive the vehicle with the engine revving in the red zone or severe engine damage can result. Keep the engine speed below the red zone even when downshifting to a lower gear position.

When the ignition switch is in the ON position or the ignition mode is “ON”, this gauge gives a rough indication of the amount of fuel in the fuel tank. “F” stands for full and “E” stands for empty.
If the fuel meter indicator shows only one segment to “E”, refill the tank as soon as possible.

NOTE:
If the last segment blinks, it means that the fuel is almost empty. If the low fuel warning light (1) comes on, refill the fuel tank immediately.

NOTE:
The activation point of the low fuel warning light (1) varies depending on road conditions (for example, slope or curve) and driving conditions because of fuel movement in the tank. Refer to “Low fuel warning light” in “Warning and indicator lights” in this section for details. Mark (2) indicates that the fuel filler door is located on the left side of the vehicle.

When the ignition switch is turned “ON” or pushed to “ON” mode, the instrument panel lights come on. Your vehicle has a system to automatically dim the brightness of the instrument panel lights when the position lights or headlights are on. When the position lights and/or headlights are on, you can adjust change the bright-ness of the instrument cluster lights bright-ness in seven levels of intensity. To increase the brightness of the instrument panel lights, turn the brightness control knob (1) clockwise. WARNING
Do not adjust the brightness of the instrument panel lights while driving. Otherwise, you could lose control of the vehicle.

NOTE:
if you do not turn the brightness control knob within several seconds of activating the brightness control display, the brightness control display will be canceled automatically.

    • When you reconnect the battery, the brightness of the instrument panel lights will be reinitialized. Readjust the brightness according to your preference.
      NOTE:
    • If you adjust to the maximum brightness level when the position lights or headlights are on, the following functions will be canceled.
    • The function automatically dims the brightness of instrument panel lights.
    • The function operates with the brightness control, except maximum brightness level

The display (A) shows the time. To change the time indication:

  1. Push the trip meter selector knob (1) and the indicator selector knob (2) together.
  2. To change the hour indication, turn the indicator selector knob (2) left or right repeatedly when the hour indication blinks. To change the hour indication quickly, turn and hold the indicator selector knob (2). To set the hour indication, push the indicator selector knob and the minute indication will blink.
  3. To change the minute indication, turn the indicator selector knob (2) left or right repeatedly when the minute indication blinks. To change the minute indication quickly, turn and hold the indicator selector knob (2). To set the minute indication, push the indicator selector knob (2).

WARNING
If you attempt to adjust the display while driving, you could lose control of the vehicle. Do not attempt to adjust the display while driving.

NOTE:
When you disconnect either of the terminals from the battery and keep it for a minute, the clock indication will be initialized. Change the indication again to your preference after the reconnection.
