Toyota Corolla 2021

The Toyota Corolla 2021 is a small car known for being reliable, getting good gas mileage, and being useful. The Corolla has been one of Toyota’s most popular cars for a long time. It is known for being reliable and cheap. The 2021 Corolla looks sleek and modern from the outside, with sharp lines and a big front grille. It looks more elegant and up-to-date than the ones that came before it. The Corolla comes in several trims, including the L, LE, SE, XLE, and XSE. Each trim has its own set of features and style elements. There are two engines to choose from under the hood of the Corolla. The standard engine is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that is both powerful and good on gas. It has a gearbox that changes speed all the time (CVT). If you want more power, the Corolla SE and XSE come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that gives you more horsepower and makes driving more fun. For people who like to drive with more control, the SE trim also comes with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Inside the 2021 Corolla, the cabin is cozy and well-designed. The materials are high-quality, and the seats are comfortable enough for both short trips and long ones. Standard on the Corolla is an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen. Higher trims can get an 8-inch tablet instead. It works with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa, so smartphones and voice controls can be used without any problems. The Corolla puts safety first, and it comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 package of high-tech safety features. This includes things like a pre-collision system with pedestrian recognition, lane departure alert with steering assist, dynamic radar cruise control, and road sign assist. Together, these safety devices make the driver and other people in the car safer. Overall, the 2021 Toyota Corolla is a reliable, fuel-efficient, and useful compact car, just like it has been in the past. The Corolla is still a strong contender in its class because of its stylish design, choice of engines, advanced safety features, and user-friendly technology. It continues to appeal to buyers who want a reliable and affordable daily driver.

Compass

The compass on the inside rearview mirror indicates the direction in which the vehicle is heading.

Operation
To turn the compass on or off, press the button for more than 3 seconds.

Calibrating the compass
The direction display deviates from the true direction determined by the earth’s magnetic field. The amount of deviation varies according to the geographic position of the vehicle. If you cross over a map boundary shown in the illustration, the compass will deviate. To obtain higher precision or perfect calibration, refer to the following.

  • Deviation calibration
    1. Stop the vehicle.
    2. Press and hold the button for 6 seconds. A number (1 to 15) appears on the compass display.
    3. Press the switch and referring to the map above, select the number of the zone where you are. If the direction is displayed several seconds after adjustment, the calibration is complete.

Circling calibration

    1. Stop the vehicle in a place where it is safe to drive in a circle.
    2. Press and hold the button for 9 seconds. C appears on the compass display.
    3. Drive the vehicle at 5 mph (8 km/h) or less in a circle until a direction is displayed. If there is not enough space to drive in a circle, drive around the block until the direction is displayed.

    • The vehicle is stopped immediately after turning.
    • The vehicle is on an inclined surface.
    • The vehicle is in a place where the earth’s magnetic field is subject to interference by artificial magnetic fields (underground car park/parking lot, under a steel tower, between buildings, roof car park/parking lot, near an intersection, near a large vehicle, etc.).
    • The vehicle has become magnetized. (There is a magnet or metal object near the inside rearview mirror.)
    • The battery has been disconnected.
    • A door is open.

WARNING
