The parking lights are switched on.
Flashes

Seat belt reminder
illuminates or flashes in the instrument cluster and, depending on the version, in the overhead console for the second seat row.

Antilock brake system (ABS)

Gear shifting

The Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control system
illuminates or flashes yellow.
Illuminates
A fault in the system is present. Continued driving is possible. Driving stability, however, may deteriorate depending on road surface conditions.
Have the cause of the fault remedied by a workshop.
After reconnecting the vehicle battery, (e.g. after maintenance work), J is illuminated for several seconds. After this period, J extinguishes. This is a normal procedure, the vehicle does not need any assistance.
Flashes
The system is actively engaged. Engine output may be reduced and the vehicle may be braked automatically to a small degree.

Start of saturation of the exhaust filter. Start the cleaning process as soon as possible by driving at a vehicle speed of at least 40 mph.
