ENTERTAINMENT

ON-BOARD WIFI SYSTEM

-If Equipped
Quick Setup

  1. Turn on the power switch to the Winegard Gateway indoor unit (IDU). The power switch is typically located in the overhead above the entry door.
  2. Turn on the WiFi-enabled device (tablet, smartphone, or laptop) you want to connect to the Gateway and scan for wireless networks. It may take a few minutes for the Winegard network to appear.
  3.  The label located on the front of the Winegard User Manual lists the unique default SSID and password. You can also find this information on the back of the Gateway Router (see photo below) located on the coach ceiling. Select the WiFi signal that matches the SSID from the list if wireless networks and connect. Once the correct SSID has been selected, enter the password. It is recommended to set your device(s) to automatically connect with the Winegard Gateway.

  4. Once connected. Open an internet browser and type 10.11.12.1 into the address bar and press enter. This will take you to the Admin Login Screen.

Login using the following credentials:

Username: admin  Password: admin

Note: For reference, the Winegard Gateway system automatically connects with the most recently used service (WiFi or 4G LTE).

Connecting to WiFi Access Point

  1. Select SCAN FOR WIFI to find WiFi signals in range (This could take up to 30 seconds). Select the desired network and click CONTINUE.
  2. Enter the network password, if prompted. When INTERNET STATUS shows CONNECTED, then the system is ready.

Connecting to WiFi Access Point (4G LTE)
Note: Connecting to the internet through 4G/ LTE will use data from your Winegard-subscribed data plan or other selected data plan if you installed your own SIM card.

  1. To connect to a 4G/LTE network, select 4G/ LTE from the internet access menu. Then click SELECT.

FRONT TV IGNITION SWITCH INTERLOCK

–If Equipped
If your motorhome is equipped with a front overhead TV, it is plugged into a special electrical outlet with a built-in ignition switch interlock. The device allows the front overhead TV to operate only when the ignition key is in the Off or Accessory positions.

AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEM BASIC OPERATION

DVD PLAYER

–If Equipped
The DVD Player is a selectable function of the multi-featured audio system. The player unit contains DVD/CD, MP3, AM/FM, USB, and Bluetooth Stereo. It also accepts portable audio player inputs and functions as an alarm clock.
This stereo receives Bluetooth streaming audio from Bluetooth enabled audio sources such as a cellphone.
The player is connected directly to the TV and can output sound to either the stereo speakers in the TV or to the Exterior speakers.

Zones Button

  • To connect or disconnect the exterior speaker system, press Zones and select Zone A, B, or C to turn on/off.

  • Turn TV and Radio/DVD player ON.
    Press the MODE button on the TV or the SOURCE button on the remote to select “INPUT 2”.
    The TV screen will display the DVD player logo when the correct input is selected.

Play DVD

  1. Insert a DVD “face up” into slot on lower face of the player.
  2. The DVD will begin to load automatically. The TV screen will typically display “Reading” or “Loading”.
  3. The DVD may load directly to the main title/menu screen or it may begin to play previews. You may be able to skip previews if desired by pressing the “Next” button on the DVD remote until you see the main menu screen.
  4. When the main menu screen appears, press the “Enter” button on the remote or “Play/Pause” button on DVD player to begin playing the main feature. Use the arrow buttons on the DVD remote to select another feature to play.
  5. Volume is adjusted with the DVD remote.

TV Sound through Exterior Speakers

When watching TV programs alone, the TV normally plays sound through its own built-in stereo speakers. If you wish to connect TV stereo sound output to the Exterior speakers for a richer sound quality, follow these steps:

  1. Turn the TV ON.
  2.  Press the Mode input selection button (located in the top right corner of radio) and choose AUX. This will route the TV stereo sound output through the Radio/DVD Player and out to the Deluxe Sound speakers.
  3.  Select TV channels and adjust volume using the TV remote.

AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEM CABLES

An HDMI Cable is provided for connection of your choice of DVD player, home theater system, or satellite receiver.
The cable (located inside cabinet above entrance door) is connected to all equipped TVs.

TV (DINING BUFFET) – POWER LIFT

–If Equipped
Your motorhome may be equipped with a TV power lift/lower mechanism built into the dining buffet which allows you to raise and lower the TV with a touch of a switch.

NOTE: Road vibration may damage the TV and/ or power lift mechanism in the extended position.

  1. To raise the TV, press the control switch (located on the face of the buffet cabinet) UP and the TV will pop up through the access lid.

  3. To lower the TV back into stored position, press the control switch DOWN. The power lift/lower mechanism will stop automatically when the TV is all the way seated into stored position.

NOTE: Be sure that the buffet counter is clear before raising/lowering the TV to protect the TV, lift/lower mechanism, and personal property from possible damage.

BEDROOM DVD/SATELLITE RECEIVER CONNECTION

TV ANTENNA – DIGITAL

(Omnidirectional Digital HDTV Over-the-Air Antenna)
Your motorhome is featured with a omnidirectional digital antenna, which provides crystal clear digital HD reception of over-the-air channels in addition to superior broad reception range.
The digital antenna is equipped with a built-in amplifier for maximum VHF and UHF programming. A built-in signal amplifier designed to strengthen signals, is controlled by a power switch built into the optional video selector panel or on a wall plate assembly.

WARNING
Never allow the antenna to touch electrical power lines or any other electrical wires.

TV SIGNAL AMPLIFIER

The TV Signal Amplifier is built into the antenna and can be turned on or off with a power switch.

TV DIGITAL SATELLITE SYSTEM WIRING

–If Equipped
This motorhome is pre-wired for installation of a digital satellite TV system. Coaxial cable connections to hook up your satellite receiver are located inside a cabinet near the TV.
A second connection may be included in an overhead cabinet in the bedroom for the rear TV (if equipped).

TV DIGITAL SATELLITE SYSTEM – PORTABLE

–If Equipped
The Portable Multi-Satellite Television System allows you to receive TV programs directly from satellite to your motorhome.
We recommend that you read the satellite dish manual thoroughly to understand the system completely before attempting any setups or adjustments.

  • The motorhome must be parked and level before attempting to operate the portable antenna dish.
    There must be a clear “line of sight” to the satellite. Mountains, buildings, trees, telephone poles and other obstructions can all block the satellite signal from reaching the dish.

SATELLITE DISH AND CABLE TV CONNECTIONS (INPUT)

The portable satellite dish and cable television input connectors are located in the utility compartment, shoreline compartment, or water service center, depending on model.

ACCESS PORT (ROOF)
Your motorhome is equipped with a roof access port that provides a wiring path from an overhead cabinet to a sealed box on the roof for installing electronic devices such as Wifi and cell boosters, TV antennas, and satellites.
This location also provides 110V, 12V, and USB charging outlets.

EXTERIOR ENTERTAINMENT CENTER

The exterior entertainment center contains a stereo radio/CD player, electrical outlets and a convenient TV hook-up for your outdoor listening or viewing pleasure.
NOTE: These electronic devices and speakers are not designed to be waterproof.
